Elizabeth Crouch (moderator)

Elizabeth is a company director and consultant to government and the private sector. Ms Crouch spent 16 years with the Federal government before moving into the private sector, where she held various positions including the role of Executive Director of the Housing Industry Association. Ms Crouch now chairs a range of boards and government advisory bodies. 

She is the Chairperson of the Public Transport Ticketing Corporation, the Fair Trading Advisory Council, a Non-Executive Director and Chair of Railcorp, a member of the Council of Macquarie University and Chair of the University's Audit and Risk Committee. Ms Crouch is also Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee of NSW Health Infrastructure. She is the former Deputy Chair of the City of Sydney Planning Committee and has recently concluded her term as Chair of the Ku-ring-gai Planning Committee. She also holds a number of positions with community and sporting bodies including as registrar of junior sporting clubs. 



Emma Stein (moderator)

Emma is a non-executive director of Clough, an oil and gas engineering and construction company, and DUET (majority shareholder in the Dampier to Bunbury pipeline. Formerly she was on the board of oil junior Arc Energy and 2 NSW government boards ( Integral Energy and the Growth Centres Commission).

Emma sits on the Strategy and Resources committee for University of Western Sydney, is NSW President for NAPCAN (National Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect) and is an Ambassador for the Guides.
Prior to moving to Australia in late 2003, she was UK Managing Director for the French utility Gaz de France, managing their energy retailing operations. Her executive career was in line roles, spanning energy, fuel distribution and building materials.


Joydeep Hor

Joydeep is the Managing Principal and Founder of People & Culture Strategies. Having previously been Managing Partner at another leading Australian workplace relations law firm, Joydeep established PCS as a firm that reflected his vision for legal and compliance services in the workplace relations space. Joydeep's professional qualifications include him being a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute, holding a Master of Laws from University of Sydney (where he previously completed a Bachelor of Laws with Honours degree and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English literature). 

With over 14 years' continuous experience in advising employers on all aspects of law and strategy in workplace relations, Joydeep continues to advise leading Australian private sector (including Mars, Cochlear, Daikin, Schenker, Alphapharm, Fox Sports, Yum Restaurants) and public sector (including the Reserve Bank of Australia and the Audit Office of NSW) employers. 

Joydeep appears on Sky Business Channel every week, conducts a monthly education program for lawyers on the internet (cle.tv) and is a regular presenter at HR and industry briefings. He has authored numerous books, including : Inside Employee Screening, two editions of Managing Termination of Employment, Work Choices FAQs, Fair Work Act FAQs and Finders Keepers: How to Attract and Retain Great Employees. 

While an expert in all areas of workplace relations Joydeep is one of Australia's "go to" lawyers for complex and sensitive terminations of employment. He also conducts numerous training programs for clients and has a proven track record of attracting the attention and respect of Boards, leadership groups and management team of organisations. 


Tony Eyres

Tony Eyres is Executive Director of Harvest Capital Partners, which he co-founded in 2008. Harvest is an investment firm located in Sydney, specialising in the Australian food and agribusiness, for which Tony provides a necessary blend of strong industry knowledge and personal relationships together with commercial and financial skills. 

Harvest works with agricultural asset owners and managers, from both Australia and overseas, to develop investment grade financial products that are attractive to investors. Prior to establishing Harvest, Tony worked in several financial services firms, including Origin Capital Group, focusing on corporate advisory services to the Australian agribusiness sector and regional infrastructure businesses seeking capital for growth and to facilitate industry restructuring and rationalisation. He has more than 10 years' senior management experience in the food and agribusiness in Australia including six years as Chief Executive Office of Grain Growers Association, an industry body with A$150 million of assets including a controlling interest in ASX listed company, Graincorp, a diversified agribusiness that operates key grains, malting and flour milling infrastructure in Australia and internationally. 

Tony studied Agricultural Science at the University of WA with an emphasis on agricultural and resource economies and worked in various not-for-profit organisations before moving to the East Coast 10 years ago to take on senior roles in agriculture. Tony has attended the Harvard Business School Agribusiness Seminar and also successfully attained a Churchill Fellowship, both offering the opportunity to travel overseas and gain insight into global trends in the food and agribusiness sector.  



Denise Aldous

Denise is a non-executive director and chairman holding board and committee positions with KEA Australia, UnitingCare NSW/ACT, Cronulla-Sutherland Leagues Club, Cronulla Sharks Football Club, Enterprise Challenge Fund and the NSW Bar Association.

In addition she runs her own business consulting in the areas of governance and leadership. She has nearly 40 years of business experience, up to and including CEO level, in both large and small businesses in financial services, international consulting, retail and professional services.  

Denise worked for many years in the International Finance Corporation (IFC) - the private sector arm of the World Bank Group -  facilitating public, private and civil society sector partnerships to build sustainable commercial business in more than 20 countries. Her last executive role was as CEO of the IFC Sydney – the only woman in Australasia to have held this position.
